In every breathe I take And every step I make; It leads me closer to your side. I cannot lie, I am tired And nervous at the same time For I will finally meet you For the first time. Yet thoughts of being with you, Invigorates my languid senses. It ensures the promise Of a rainbow colored life, Vanishing my monochromatic existence.
Being out and about in the busy streets, Getting social with strangers is really a huge leap For a person, such as I, who favored solitude, stillness - Living in a secluded existence. But then, this way of life is no longer viable. I have to spread my wings and widen my social circle. It's one of the ways for me to adapt and catch up to your level So that I'm ready when we are finally together. Albeit, staying here for only a few days, I know that I should make the most of it And discover what life, outside my sheltered life, has to offer.
Like a fearless eagle, I soar through the clouds Crossing new borders. I stepped into an uncharted soil, Walked the quaint streets where the locals mingle. Staying here was really an eye-opener; That people from all races Don't really differ despite the language barrier. Though it is our special day and we are not physically together But I thank you for all the experiences you have offered. I know that one of these days, We Will Finally Be Together.

Just like Alice, I was nervous But curious about your behavior. So I followed you around And tripped down the rabbit hole.
