I can vividly remember
How in the early days,
I chose to remain as a lurker.
My heart unfailingly aches for you
Whilst standing idly in my corner.
But it’s as if we’re divided
By an imaginary border;
Like we’re living parallel lives
That can never be together.
Oh how I craved to be near you,
To caress your weary face,
I want to wipe your tears away,
Soothe your troubled heart,
So you’ll no longer wallow in pain.
But then again, I’m just a lurker-
A curious bystander,
Basically a stranger.
Who am I to interfere in your affairs
When you don’t even know my name
Or notice my existence, dear writer?
